Graduated from Southampton medical school in UK in 1996 and selected a career in surgery.He completed his basic surgical training and was made a member of the Royal college of surgeons in 1999.He them embarked on a career in urology,undertaking a research degree in tissue engineering of the bladder for which he was given a prestigious fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons England.He awarded a doctorate of medicine from the university of Newcastle in 2003.Following a 6 year training programme in the North East of the UK,including some renal transplant exposure he was made a fellow of the intercollegiate surgical college and placed on the specialist register for Urology.He presently works in NHS as a consultant urological surgeon in addition to his role as the Chief medical director and is committed to providing world class healthcare at the hospital. |
